After a lacklustre theatrical run, Disney/"Lightyear" Pixar's is now available on Disney's streaming service and other digital platforms.

The time-bending sci-fi adventure debuted on Disney Plus this week and on Blu-ray/DVD and 4K Ultra HD on Sept. 13 with deleted scenes, cast interviews, and bonus features.

To celebrate "Lightyear's" leap out of theatres and into our living rooms, Space.com is presenting an exclusive behind-the-scenes clip in which director Angus MacLane, Art Director Garrett Taylor, Character Designer Grant Alexander, Modeling Art Director Greg Peltz and other filmmakers reveal how Lego played an integral role in the production and development of the $200 million CGI-animated movie.
