As of earlier today, Disney+ unveiled a brand new teaser for the programme Andor, which, to tell you the truth, makes the show appear like nothing less than required viewing. It was definitely a significant improvement over the modest Star Wars Celebration teaser, but buried inside the press release was a very sad alteration to the debut date of the Rogue One spinoff.

In spite of the fact that the first two episodes of the 12-part series were supposed to be released on August31, the premiere will now consist of all three episodes and will take place on September 21.

There is no reason for the delay; however, the fact that this is occurring after Disney+ Day and D23 may provide some insight. Both events will provide Lucasfilm with the opportunity to promote Andor one more time before to its debut; this is an opportunity that they would not have had if it had been released at the end of this month as scheduled.
