The first message that was displayed was, "It's been a minute." "Over the course of the past few months, I've been engaging in a significant amount of introspection and work on myself."The message went on to say, "You raised a lot of reasonable questions, which is why I wanted to take some time to address them."

The nearly six-minute film then cut to a shot of Will seated in a chair and reading a question related to the event. The question asked, "Why didn't you apologise to Chris in your Oscars speech?"Will, who won the Academy Award for Best Actor shortly after the onstage contact, stated that he was "fogged out" at that time while speaking straight to the camera. Will won the award shortly after the onstage incident.

The actor who plays King Richard stated that everything was unclear. "My attempt to contact Chris was met with the response that he is not yet prepared to discuss the matter, but that he will get in touch with me as soon as he is. Therefore, I must tell you, Chris, that I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

My actions were not acceptable in any way. And I'll be here anytime you're ready to have a conversation about it." Will then proceeded to apologise to Chris' mother as well as Chris' younger sibling. He made the observation, "I watched an interview that Chris's mother did." "And just so you know, it was one of the things that stood out to me about that particular moment.

I can't believe I didn't see it coming... I wasn't paying attention to the number of persons that were injured during that time. Therefore, I feel it necessary to offer an apology to Chris's mother. I would want to extend my apology to Chris's family, particularly to Tony Rock. Indeed, the connection between us was really strong."

Will proceeded by saying, "I spent the last three months repeating what happened in that moment and trying to comprehend the intricacies and the complexity of what had place." "I'm not going to try to make sense of all of that right now, so don't bother asking. But I can assure you all that there is not a single part of me that believes it was the appropriate way to conduct myself in that particular situation.

That does not strike me as the most effective approach to deal with feelings of contempt or insults, and I emphatically reject the notion that it does." Will then elucidated that he came to the conclusion to stand up and strike Chris on his own in the immediate aftermath of the comic making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who was sitting next to him in the crowd at the time of the incident.

Will explained his decision by saying, "I made a choice on my own, based on my own experiences, and based on my past with Chris." "Jada was completely innocent in this matter."After that, he proceeded to apologise to his wife and the rest of his family, which includes his children Trey Smith,29, Jaden Smith,24, and Willow Smith,21, for "the heat that I brought on all of us."

"I'm a human and I made a mistake. And while I'm at it, I'm going to do my best not to think of myself as a piece of crap, "he continued. "To those individuals, therefore, I would say that I am aware that it was unclear. I am aware of how surprising that was. But I solemnly swear that spreading love, joy, and light into the globe is one of the most important things in my life and my life's work.
